REFERENCE SHEET ✦ BUILD

Ref sheets start at 1 fullbody always flatcolored, typically 3/4 view, and include color pallet and basic info like name, species, and pronouns. These are flatcolor for proper reference purposes, but shading can be added for extra in some cases, ie a shaded bust or halfbody meant to show off the character’s personality or energy more than design reference.

Visit my public Trello queue anytime to see where your art piece is in the line! I occasionally stray from the queue slightly but mostly I work on commissions in order! On top of the queue, I send you every update stage (thumbnail or rough, sketch, line, color, then final for approval.)Estimated turnaround time varies by piece but generally you can expect your piece to be completed within 3 weeks of final payment, though I strive for quick delivery! This is an estimate however, and life happens, so delays are possible.I am also a fulltime Emergency Medical Technician currently working EMS shifts Monday-Wednesday, so commission progress is likely to be little to none those days. Responses may be delayed until Thursday due to this as well, but typically I can respond quickly no matter the day.Regardless, I strive to have the best communication and clarity possible! I send frequent updates and WIPs, and am sure to notify clients of any possible delays immediately.PAYMENT & REFUNDSI take payment through CashApp and PayPal (goods & service) or via Ko-fi.I only accept upfront full payment unless commission is $150 or more, in which case a payment plan with non-refundable 50% down payment must be made with the other 50% paid in 1 month or less, unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon.I do not do refunds unless:
• I choose to cancel the commission for any reason, issuing a full refund immediately
• If I must cancel a commission for reason of feeling uncomfortable or unsafe with the client, such as threats or harassment from client, commission will be totally cancelled and a refund may not be issued.
• If something pops up such as an emergency life situation after your commission has been started, client and myself will discuss and agree on either 1. a full refund and total cancellation of their commission or 2. a partial refund equal to the work I have not yet completed, allowing the client to keep the work-in-progress piece as is (and some cases may allow the client to finish it themself, ie a piece cancelled in the sketch phase being cleaned and/or colored by client.)
…Otherwise, clients may NOT keep, use, save, or post their cancelled work.Client may not cancel commission or request refund after payment is completed if reason is of the client’s volitions - I am not a bank nor a charity, please do not commission me unless you are financially safe and comfortable to do so! …However I may make exceptions to this rule for unforeseen tragedies on client’s side - this must be discussed and is not automatically guaranteed. I care about my client’s well being physically, mentally, and financially, but also my own. <3USE OF ARTWORK• I ask you do not publicly share WIPs (work-in-progress shots) unless it has my watermark and credit.
• You may not use the artwork for commercial purposes unless I have discussed and agreed to it. Personal purposes are free rein however, so long as it is not to promote hatefulness!
• After your commission is fully paid for and complete, you are free to use and post it however and wherever you like! This includes sharing on social media, using as profile pictures or banners, printing to frame or hang for yourself/not for profit, so on. Please do credit me (“Art by Boarbites” or similar) when sharing it.• I reserve the right to post all of my work as I see fit unless discussed and agreed otherwise. This includes using for examples or on my social medias. However I will not use your commissioned work for further profit without your explicit permission (ie selling it as prints, reusing linework or similar of the piece, etc.)USE OF CHARACTER DESIGN• You may do most anything you wish with your character design from me, so long as it is not for commercial or profit reasons.
• You can name, depict, redesign, draw, commission other art or fursuit of, change species, etc. all you wish - just credit me for the (original) design.
• Rehoming is totally fine! I do prefer you not upcharge the design however, as in selling the character for more than you have paid into them. Subsequent commissions/art adds to their worth, including that in resale price is of course welcome.
